Acute pain is usually due to muscle, bone or other organ damage and is experienced for a short interval. Nimesulide and paracetamol tablets use includes chronic pains; however, they are much more painful and long-lasting due to severe issues like nerve damage, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing. It is also used for managing dental pain due to decay, infection and extraction.
Nimesulide and paracetamol tablets uses are common for pain management. It is composed of two medicines, nimesulide and paracetamol. Both work to reduce the pain due to osteoarthritis, dysmenorrhea and fever. It also acts as an analgesic and reduces inflammation controlling mild to moderate pain. The mechanism of the nimesulide and paracetamol tablets is blocking the prostaglandin pathway, which induces pain and inflammation in the body. Paracetamol works as an analgesic and keeps body temperature in control. It helps the hypothalamus to keep the body temperature optimum through sweating. Nimesulide & paracetamol uses are strictly avoided for those with a history of allergy to painkillers. Tell your doctor in detail if you have an active stomach ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, heart bypass surgery in the past few days, asthma or chronic kidney disorder. Nimesulide drug also affects the fertility rate, so if you plan a pregnancy, inform the doctor beforehand. Nimesulide and paracetamol should not be given to pregnant and breastfeeding mothers as they might get in the milk and affect the baby. Patients suffering from heart disease or a recent stroke (bleeding in the brain) should avoid nimesulide and paracetamol uses. Instead, aspirin is a better option for them. Children below the age of 12 suffering from fever and pain or influenza or chickenpox should not be given nimesulide and paracetamol.
Nimesulide and paracetamol commonly interact with several drugs such as lithium, anti-cancer, antimetabolites, blood thinners, blood pressure or heart medicines, nausea medicine, diuretic pills, steroid medicines, quinoline medicines, respiratory medicines, immunity booster medicines, cholesterol-reducing medicines and antidepressants. Thus, the drug interaction would affect the efficiency of both the drugs involved.
Consumption of excessive alcoholic drinks, caffeine contains food and drinks like tea, coffee, chocolate, and carbonated drinks should be avoided as much as possible during the medication period of nimesulide and paracetamol. Their consumption might further lead to drowsiness and dizziness.
Nimesulide and paracetamol should not be given to patients suffering from bleeding disorders like haemophilia, Willebrand disease and low platelet count. It should not be given to children under 12 suffering from influenza or chickenpox. The medicine is also not suitable for those who recently had gastric ulcers.
Alcohol: Avoid alcohol consumption with nimesulide and paracetamol as it causes increased dizziness and tiredness. It can also damage the liver or make existing medical conditions worse. Thus, keep the consumption in control or avoid it on the whole.
Pregnancy: Consult your doctor, as nimesulide and paracetamol should be strictly avoided during pregnancy, especially during the last three months, due to their harmful effects on the baby.
Breastfeeding: Nimesulide and paracetamol should not be given to pregnant and breastfeeding mothers as they might get in the milk and harm the baby. Thus, consult your doctor about it.

Kidneys: Be careful of the dosage if you have kidney disorders and conditions. Give all the information to the doctor about your history of diseases.
It is suggested to include more glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate, vitamin D and calcium-rich supplements. Also, turmeric and fish oils should be included to boost inflammation recovery. Avoid high-strength exercises as they can increase joint pain during arthritis. Stay active and not go for complete bed rest, as it may slow down the body’s healing rate. You can go on with low-intensity exercises and aerobics, such as walking on a treadmill for some time daily. You might also gradually begin lifting light weights, bike riding and swimming. In case of chronic arthritis, fishes like salmon, trout, tunas and sardines are good to include in the diet. They are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which reduce the production of chemical cytokines.
Your sitting posture is also an important factor. Have an erect posture to avoid any chronic conditions of spondylitis. If you are suffering from acute pain, try to sit for as little time as possible. In some cases of severe pain or arthritis, immobility can also occur. While sitting, use a rolled-up towel as a support to minimise pain and pressure on the curved bone of the spinal cord. Maintain your knees and hips at a right angle. Also, you may use a footrest if needed.
Also, if you are experiencing any bleeding issues, inform the doctor immediately, as nimesulide and paracetamol are associated with interaction with blood platelets.
