Dr. Prof Shashikant has honor of being inaugurating Heart Surgeon and HOD at prestigious AIIMS Rishikesh along with
starting Heart Surgery Program at seven institutes He was honored with prestigious Commonwealth Fellowship under
Prof Yacoub (Harefield) while he was faculty at AIIMS New Delhi. Now most of valve/s and Pediatric Heart surgery are
done by MICS (Minimal Invasive) incision offering greater cosmetic and function outcome with speedy recovery. Total
Arterial CABG (Bypass) will be routinely offered to deserving Cases. A world class Heart center was long overdue in city
