Cygnus Medicare, on the other hand, was created by professional doctors who stood up to provide high-quality secondary and tertiary healthcare facilities to tier 2 and tier 3 towns, especially during the ‘golden hour’ of critical care. Ujala Cygnus Healthcare Services operations span Northern India, with 28 multi-super speciality NABH accredited hospitals, making it the largest NABH accredited super-speciality hospital chain of the region. The company’s future plans are to provide inclusive primary and preventive healthcare access through innovative digital devices and solutions across regions of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, and Punjab with an aim to establish 10 more hospitals in the next couple of years. The company is also looking to expand its footprints significantly in MP, Rajasthan and Bihar. Ujala Cygnus is also amplifying its services and activities to support the public health systems of the government, working consistently to deliver primary care facilities. Besides this, Ujala Cygnus is also working extensively on mental health, maternal mortality, equity, and access to health facilities in remote locations of Northern India as part of its Sustainable Development Goals.
