The Health of India Summit moved beyond dialogue to action, culminating in a strategic MoU between DataLEADS’ AI initiative ADiRA (AI for Digital Readiness and Advancement) and Ujala Cygnus Hospital to train and upskill healthcare professionals for AI readiness. The MoU was signed by Dr. Sabba Mehmood, Co-founder & Director, DataLEADS and First Check, and Dr. Vandana Chawla, Vice-President – Academic & Research, Ujala Cygnus Healthcare Services.
“AI in healthcare can only thrive if our workforce is adequately prepared. Through the collaboration of ADiRA, and Ujala Cygnus, we are prioritizing the training of doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrators at the point of care delivery. For digital health transformation in India to be truly inclusive, it is essential that smaller towns are equally equipped for an AI-enabled future in healthcare. AI readiness should not be influenced by geography, and this partnership represents a significant step toward achieving that goal.” - Dr. Vandana Chawla, Vice-President – Academic & Research, Ujala Cygnus Healthcare Services
