Ujala Cygnus Healthcare Services, in collaboration with the Ronald Reagan Institute of Emergency Medicine (RRIEM) at George Washington University (GWU), is pleased to announce the launch of the MEM- GWU International Emergency Medicine Residency Program. This three-year Master’s in Emergency Medicine program (MEM) is designed to provide comprehensive training and prepare MBBS doctors to excel in the complex and demanding field of emergency medicine, combining academic rigour with hands-on clinical experience.

The program not only addresses the critical shortage of trained emergency physicians but also empowers a new generation of leaders who will help shape the future of emergency care worldwide. Residents also have the opportunity to gain hands-on training abroad, allowing them to travel for further experience. 

One of the best aspects of this program is its established reputation and high recognition throughout the country. Upon graduation, residents often have the chance to practice abroad by taking the necessary entrance exams. For those opting to stay in India, many graduates secure positions as heads of emergency departments.
