Ujala Cygnus Hospitals, in collaboration with the Quality Council of India (QCI), hosted the NABH and NABL Gunvatta Yatra programmes in Karnal, bringing together leading experts, healthcare professionals and quality stakeholders to strengthen the culture of quality, patient safety and continuous improvement in healthcare.

The programmes focused on increasing awareness and understanding of NABH accreditation and NABL laboratory standards, with discussions around quality systems, standardisation, patient safety, clinical governance and the practical implementation of accreditation standards.

The Gunvatta Yatra is a national initiative of the Quality Council of India, aimed at promoting a strong culture of quality and encouraging healthcare organisations and laboratories to adopt structured quality systems and best practices.

Distinguished NABH Experts Address the Gathering

The programmes featured valuable insights from distinguished experts associated with NABH and the quality ecosystem.

Dr. Narender Saini, NABH Board Member and NABH Assessor, shared his expertise on accreditation standards, quality systems and the importance of embedding patient safety and continuous improvement into everyday healthcare practices.

Dr. Reema Bahiri, NABH Board Member and NABH Assessor, also addressed the gathering and provided valuable perspectives on the implementation of NABH standards and developing a sustainable culture of quality within healthcare organisations.

The programme was further enriched by the participation of the Quality Council of India team, who engaged with healthcare professionals and stakeholders on the objectives of the Gunvatta Yatra and the importance of strengthening quality standards across the healthcare ecosystem.
